A tissue microarray slide composed of duplicate tissue cores from invasive and in situ components of 96 surgically resected human male breast carcinomas (35 ductal, 36 lobular, 21 lymphoma, and four histologic types of special type) was prepared. Tumor cells were classified by high-resolution image analysis of immunostained tissue microarray slides.
